KA·SHER was created by friends and business partners Stu Lerner and Jack Morris from a desire to honor their heritage with kosher wines from the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. Healthy vineyards, a top rated winemaker and good old mother nature are the necessary components to make great wine. Our winemaking is under the direction of Russell Bevan who carefully selects only the best vineyards and uses proven winemaking techniques to create outstanding wines. The Orthodox Union (O.U.) Kosher Certification Agency oversees our winemaking process to confirm our accredited brand.

For many of us, our first thought when we hear “kosher wine” is the sweet, mass-produced, Concord grape flavored wine purchased at a grocery store. Fortunately, Kosher wine does NOT have to be that way. In fact, the restrictions imposed on kosher winemaking have nothing to do with the quality of the wine. QUALITY is achieved by what you put in the bottle. Our goal is to make world-class wine that just happens to be kosher.

For thousands of years, wine has held a position of great importance in Jewish law and history. Wine is a part of our holidays, weddings, bris, and moments of celebration. Wine was meant to be enjoyed!

At VintEdge we are excited to release our first vintage of kosher wines — the 2021 KA·SHER Chardonnay and the 2020 KA·SHER Cabernet Sauvignon

It is our hope that our wines bring joy and happiness to all who drink it!

L’ Chaim,
Jack and Stu
